Stressing, Not Slacking

Even though I have been updating our Facebook page frequently with fresh Maisie pics and info, it's been a few days since I last did a blog post.  Maisie was tired of me procrastinating...like, real tired.

The truth is that in addition to partaking in lots of fun summertime activities that leave me with less spare time, I have been going through some kinda stressful stuff lately.  It's hard not to let it get me down sometimes, but at least I know I can always depend on Maisie as a snuggle buddy.

Or a foot rest.

Or to guard the house against raccoon intruders...canine security rarely takes a holiday around here!

Or to just be so cute that she temporarily takes my mind off of other things.

Aren't we lucky to have a warm, furry companion by our side when life gives us lemons?

What did we do before our built in cuddler?

Yep! I love that no matter what I can come home to my cuddlers and I will always feel better. It's amazing how therapeutic they are!

Thank goodness for furry cuddles.

So true! To a dog, lemons are nothing more than oddly flavored tennis balls! Hope things start to look up for you!

I think this is an undervalued perk of having a dog. Our dogs are guaranteed to make me feel 400% better if I come home after a bad day. We just go for a nice walk, a wrestle on the floor, or a good cuddle, and it gets my mind off the bad stuff.

Hope things are on the up-and-up soon.

Sending positive vibes your way today. I am glad you have sweet Maisie, and dogs are the absolute best way to feel better aren't they?

Dogs are the best for making me feel better too. They're the ultimate stress reliever sometimes.
